Unreal Engine 4

Creating real-time visualizations is the future of the industry. Unreal Engine has almost limitless possibilities when it comes to show all aspects of the designed area. With finished model which contains textures and lights one can quickly generate tones of photo-realistic videos, 360 panoramas, 360 stereoscopic images and stills, as well as interactive game which will raise the fill of the design to the highest level. Below you can see some examples of my recent work in Unreal Engine.

**Archviz real-time App in Unreal Engine

This project is an executable, standalone Windows application containing full presentation of four independent photo-realistic scenes displaying offices in the centers of four different cities. The main purpose of creating it was to show for investors an exact look of an office building with an accurate surrounding of the city so they can deeply explore the location.

The app is programmed to be controlled by Xbox controller with the backup of computer keyboard. The point was to have an interaction with customer while showing and describing buildings. We are starting from the location of the city in the country, than location of an investment on the city map (customer can clearly see how the correlations with main places in the city looks like).

From that point we are going straight to the visualization of the building and it's specifications. Here you can choose the "Virtual Walk" which brings you straight to the building, where you can walk real-time in photo-realistic environment (to see the design of the office or lobby with the exact panorama view from the windows, where the real-world, 360 degrees panoramas were applied thanks to provided photos from Drones, which were taken on exact high level as the future office floor will be).

You can choose also the "Movie" button to show cinematic shots taken straight from Unreal Engine scene through the Sequencer and Cinematic Cameras.

This presentation movie shows in the first part navigation to virtual walks and in the second part navigation to cinematic movies.

At the very end is segment quickly showing all the scenes in the Unreal® Engine 4 Editor while displaying the frame-rate in the Editor.

Programmed steering:

  • App navigation: preferable mouse (optional Xbox controller)

  • Virtual walk navigation: preferable Xbox controller (optional mouse + keyboard)

The app can by fully navigate by only Xbox controller or only mouse + keyboard set up (you can choose and navigate independent by those)

**The House of Ball Project

"The House of Ball" is my artistic vision of a Stadium filled with mist, colorful lights and memories. I used my favorite sunset light setup with it's warm and nostalgic mood. The scene is running in real-time and can be delivered as a game, where the client can walk through the place and watch different aspects of the design in photo-realistic environment. On the screen was displayed the match between Poland and CCCP from the year 1957.

Stadium design: Perbo Projekt.

**The Cherry Garden Project

This project was created to try the engine limitations. The goal was to manage assets, lights and exterior in the way it looks nice from every corner. The VIP interior with fancy living room, kitchen, and small terrace was ideal for that kind of purpose. After preparing everything with two light scenarios (midday and sunset light-sets) videos, 360 panoramas, stereoscopic panoramas and interactive game were exported straight from engine, using only build-in post-production.

**The Capital View Office

The goal was to make alive an office in upcoming building with exact view, which would be available in the future for people working there. The building will be situated in the center of capitol of Poland - Warsaw. What you can see outside is the 360 photo shot with  the simple camera from the top of the construction crane. With that kind of presentation you can go through your future office in photo-realistic environment to choose your  worksite desk. All in all millions of offices look almost the same, but what makes a difference, is the view of outside living City.
